COVID19 Prevention and Treatment

Many of our patients have had concerns about their health conditions that may put them at risk for more severe complications of COVID-19 infection.

You and your employees may have similar concerns. It may also be difficult to get reliable and consistent information about natural treatments and prevention of COVID-19.

We have been researching this issue in detail and we have brought our 25 years of experience in treating acute & chronic viral infections to bare.  We have distilled this information into 3 recommendations to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection for our patients.

• Vitamin C – 1000-3000mg in 2 to 3 divided doses throughout the day (reduce the dose if you experience loose stools)

• NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) – 600mg two capsules at bedtime

• Zinc – 25-30mg per day, after food.

Together this regime covers antiviral, antioxidant and mucosal lining support for the respiratory tract. The combined effect, we believe, lessens the chances of infection and/or the severity of infection.

Appointments:

With rare exceptions, all appointments will be scheduled as phone/video consultations.

Apothecary:

To help accommodate your supplemental needs, the Apothecary will now be open during the weekends from 9am to 1pm!

As always, we can ship directly to you with with the cost of shipping added to the order.

If you would rather pick them up at Helios, please follow the next steps: Call in advance with what you need and have payment information ready, giving Jesse time prepare your order. When you arrive to pick up your purchase, just call from your car. We will bring it out to the common entrance in a red bag with your name on it.

Not all orders will be able to ship out same day.

Our stock of supplies is in good shape with only a couple of exceptions. We have replaced Oscillococcinum with Flu-Plus for homeopathic remedy of any flu-like illnesses.

Infusions:

We will maintain appropriate physical distancing between patients for all Infusions. Chairs will be disinfected between every patient. If you are scheduled for an infusion and develop any respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or have been around someone who has, please call us immediately so your provider can clear you for your infusion appointment.

Lab Draws:

Labs draws will still be scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.

We ask that when you arrive please stay in your car and call the office at 303-499-9224, to let us know that you are here. We will call you in one at a time to minimize traffic in the office.
